1923 Bugatti Type 32 "tank" Bugatti fielded three fully streamlined racers for the 1923 Tours Grand Prix. Their extraordinary, streamlined bodywork created a visual sensation, but the cars did not perform particularly well as the design wasn't fully tested. They were plagued by breakdowns during the race and Bugatt abandoned the concept.
